1. Lilongwe City Mall
Lilongwe City Mall is located at the junction of Kamuzu Procession and Kenyatta Road and opposite to Shoprite.
It is one of the most bustling shopping malls in Lilongwe and has supermarkets, fast-food restaurants, bookshops, branches of the mobile networks Airtel and TNM and other services.
It also hosts Game, the South African chain supermarket selling toys, sports items, and camping equipment and electric appliances.
2. Gateway Mall
Gateway Mall is located on the Kaunda Road, next to African Bible College (ABC) compound.
It opened in December 2014 and is the biggest mall in Malawi. The mall offers everything from groceries, banks and clothing shops, beauty salons to restaurants and bars.
It also hosts Shoprite and Food Lover’s Market, the South African chain supermarket selling fresh foods and imports, and also has ABANTU EMPORIUM, a shop for Malawian fashion, furniture, art, and crafts.
3. City Mall
City Mall is located at the junction of Kamuzu Procession and Mchinji Road, and opposite to Crossroads Complex.
It is a neat and well-kept mall and has a variety of affordable shops, well-stocked supermarkets and fast-food restaurants.
It also hosts one of two KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) in Malawi (the other is in Blantyre), and traditional clothes market.
4. Four Seasons Centre
Situated on the Presidential Way, Four Seasons Centre is an oasis of fine dining and upscale shopping, featuring clothing and design boutiques, gift shops, a couple of bars, restaurants, a tempting cafe, and ten acres of peaceful public gardens.
There’s also a play park with a wooden castle to keep kids amused.

5. Old Town Mall
Located off Paul Kagame Road, Old Town Mall is a small mall with about 10 shops but well maintained and excellent for buying local gifts.
It has several craft and curio shops selling high-quality arts, carvings, furniture and textiles, a shop for imported grocery and wine, and two restaurants.
You can select souvenirs and mementoes from across the country and neighbouring African countries, buy a bottle of local wine, or a book on the history and culture of Malawi.
